New Life Lavender Farm | Store

Don’t end your visit without a visit to the farm store!  On the day of my visit, a harpist was playing inside the farm store – such a treat!  Additionally, you’ll find unique lavender themed gifts, freshly baked pies, sweet treats, and lavender ice cream!  I wasn’t sold on it until the first bite, but it’s delicious!

Lavender Uses

The soothing fragrance of lavender is only one of its unique properties.  Lavender is an herb, one with many therapeutic uses.  From stress relief to improved sleep, the scent of lavender has a calming effect.  Lavender is used as an analgesic for muscle aches, insect bites, alleviation of headaches.  It is used in baking, and added to coffees and teas.

As an added bonus…..Did you know that the scent of lavender deters flies, mosquitoes, and other pesky insects!
